Circular Systems: quilted by me. This wallhanging was made for my dear friend Cheryl Macaulay, using an asymmetric log cabin block. She told me she liked rich dark colours, particularly purple, but not yellow. This quilt was a lot of fun to make, using glitter materials and some satin amongst others. It was useful to use a design wall to make this quilt so I could plan each block in relation to the others. I am pleased to say that despite using one yellow strip she still likes it a lot!
