Jane's Trapunto Quilt - professionally quilted by Urban Quilter - Maggie Bond, who did an incredible job. I hope the quilting can be clearly seen in the picture - each one of the plain white blocks has trapunto quilting with stippling around it. She has done such a fabulous job that the quilt has become reversible (with a plain white backing, the raised trapunto quilting looks wonderful). The quilt is made for my sister who lives in a Welsh farmhouse (the trapunto pattern is faintly reminiscent of the leek, the national vegetable of Wales). I like the serene feeling that the pattern and colours give to the quilt.
